Elevating the hobby of radio control aviation

Based in Longview, Texas, our club brings together RC modelers of all skill levels. Whether you are crafting complex balsa wood warbirds, calibrating aerobatic gas models, or piloting modern electric fliers, you will find camaraderie and encouragement in our ranks.

We actively host field fly-ins, swap meets, and flight training sessions designed to help newcomers earn their wings while seasoned pilots exchange cutting-edge techniques and celebrate scale modeling craftsmanship.

Club Membership

Introductory Flight Lesson - Free

Experience RC flying firsthand with a buddy box system guided by an AMA-certified flight instructor.

Student pilot program - Included

Structured guidance for novice pilots covering pre-flight checklists, wind management, and solo readiness.

Annual memberships

Full adult member - $50.00 year

Complete field access, runway privileges, voting rights at club meetings, and full event entry.

Youth membership - $25.00 / year

Subsidized annual rate for modelers under 19 years old, featuring dedicated mentorship from club veterans.

Associate member - $35.00 / year

Ideal for non-flying builders, remote supporters, and social attendees wanting to stay connected.

Field events and fun flies

ETAM has a couple of fun fly events each year and proceeds go to "Toys For Tots", Stay tuned to this site for dates and times

Members of ETAM are usually at the field on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons. However you might find them at the field any weekend depending on weather.
